Artist
My love for the arts comes as a natural process from my own artistry and studies of the “Old Masters.” As an artist, my goal is to capture the extreme beauty and brightness in life as it affects me and to share my vision with all who view it.
I developed my portfolio creating with a variety of materials and techniques allowing me free choice of styles for my expression of realism, impressionism, modern and abstract art.
My accomplishments evolved during the 17 years of teaching at primary schools and over 4 decades as CEO of Marilyn Benkler Art Studios. I attended NYU and learned my fine art under the tutelage of teacher Ellen Ziegler and have received awards for sculpture, paintings and as Art Instructor Award Finalist from the Arts Council of Rockland County, New York.
